Ancora wants to make sure that God's Kids have enough to eat even when school is not in session.
Each week, we feed 700+ children (and rising) at 33 schools (and rising) in Central Texas by sending home "backpack bags" of food on Fridays, so that they have enough to eat on weekends and school breaks. Each bag contains 5 meals plus snacks, ensuring that each child has enough to eat between Friday afternoon and Monday morning.
It costs about $3200 each week to make sure this happens.
If you'd like to contribute financially to the purchase of food for Bannockburn Serve Day 2024, you can do so at the link below. Additionally, you can sign up to make sure our kids have enough to eat EVERY week by signing up to give monthly! $20 will provide weekend food for 1 child for a month.
