These results were reported to us from our '25-'26 end-of-year Feed Kids Right Now survey given to educators at our partner schools.
Over the past year, we have provided nearly 300,000 meals to families in Central Texas through our Feed Kids Right Now backpack programs. We want to increase that by 25% or more this year.
Child nutrition is not just a problem in developing nations. Texas is the state with the second highest rate of residents facing hunger with more than 1.3 million of those residents being children. 23% of children in Central Texas don't have enough to eat.
Our food security programs fill food gaps for children over weekends and school breaks, a time when children may not have access to food or enough food.

Making a Difference in a Child’s Life One Meal at a Time
All of this has been made possible with the help of our volunteers and donors, who have donated hours of their time and money to feed the kids in Central Texas.
Our team spends over 60+ hours a month meal prepping and delivering backpacks and relies heavily on donations from our community to supply as many meals as we can.
Since July 2020, we have provided more than 1.1 MILLION meals to children and families from Central Texas to Central America!
