FEEDING 800+ KIDS EVERY WEEK IN CENTRAL TEXAS
Last year, we provided nearly 120,000 meals to families in Central Texas through our Feed Kids Right Now backpack programs. We want to increase that by 25% or more this year.
Child nutrition is not just a problem in developing nations. Texas is the state with the second highest rate of residents facing hunger with more than 1.3 million of those residents being children. 60.6% of all school-aged children are classified as economically disadvantaged in Texas.
Our food security programs fill food gaps for children over weekends and school breaks, a time when children may not have access to food or enough food.

All of this has been made possible with the help of our volunteers and donors, who have donated hours of their time and money to feed the kids in Central Texas.
Our team spends over 60+ hours a month meal prepping and delivering backpacks and relies heavily on donations from our community to supply as many meals as we can.
