Your Giving Tuesday donation will help us launch programs in new communities here at home AND in Guatemala!

 Our Preschool Nutrition Program provides essential viatmins and minterals to children under age 6 in vulnerable communities. We are currently serving 200 children in central & southern Guatemala and your donation will help us fund programs in additional communities in 2023! 

The HaysHope2Go food security program provides "backpack bags" to kids on Friday afternoons to ensure that they have enough to eat over weekends and holidays. These are children who normally eat free breakfast & lunch at school, and may not have enough food at home when school is out.

Dripping Springs, on the western edge of Hays County, TX, has a significantt population of children experiencing food insecurity. The Dripping With Hope backpack program will send food home each weekend with students identified as "food-insecure." We will also provide a "snack shack" in each partner school so that counselors and nurses can provide a snack to students who are hungry and don't have the financial support from home to bring a snack to school. It's true for kids as well as adults: Sometimes a snack makes a rought day better!

97% of the ground water in Guatemala is contaminated. Because clean water goes hand in hand with proper nutrition, water filters are an important component of our community parternships. Each filter can purify up to 50 galllons a day and last for up to 10 years.
